This Shipping Policy governs shipping charges, carriers, delivery methods, and shipping restrictions for orders placed on MetricFasteners.com. It forms part of the MetricFasteners.com Terms of Service.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges, eligibility for free shipping, available carriers, delivery methods, and estimated delivery times are those displayed on MetricFasteners.com at checkout for your order and destination. Shipping charges are calculated in addition to product prices and do not include taxes, duties, or other applicable charges unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times begin when an order ships, not when it is placed, and do not include order processing time.
Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days, excluding weekends and holidays observed by MetricFasteners.com or the applicable carrier. Orders may be delayed due to product availability, supplier delays, order verification, address or payment issues, or other circumstances that prevent reasonable fulfillment; where a delay is expected, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer.
Orders may ship in multiple packages or from multiple locations. Partial shipments do not constitute cancellation of the remainder of the order.
Carriers, Title, and Risk of Loss
We may use a variety of carriers for parcel and freight shipments. The carrier and service level used for a given order are determined by MetricFasteners.com unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where routing instructions or a customer-provided carrier account are accepted, the customer is responsible for all associated charges, claims, and carrier requirements.
Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of the shipment to the applicable carrier, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Shipping Restrictions and Additional Charges
Not all products qualify for standard or promotional shipping rates. Products may be subject to additional shipping restrictions or charges because of size, weight, hazardous-material classifications, carrier restrictions, supplier requirements, freight classifications, or applicable regulations.
Certain destinations, including PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and remote or restricted delivery areas, may be ineligible for some shipping methods or may be subject to additional charges or extended transit times. MetricFasteners.com reserves the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order that cannot reasonably or legally be shipped to the specified destination.
Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Address corrections, redelivery attempts, refused deliveries, and returned-to-sender packages may result in additional carrier fees charged to the customer.
Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Shipments
Inspect shipments upon delivery, and note any visible damage with the carrier at the time of delivery where possible. If you receive an incorrect item, an incorrect quantity, or a product damaged in transit, contact Customer Service within thirty (30) days of delivery. We may request photographs, packaging information, or other documentation necessary to verify the issue. See the MetricFasteners.com Return Policy for how these claims are resolved.
International Shipments
Products are primarily offered for domestic consumption within the United States. Where international shipping is offered, international customers are responsible for applicable shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, import fees, and other destination-specific charges, which are not included in the amounts collected at checkout unless expressly stated.
If a purchaser exports products purchased from MetricFasteners.com, the purchaser assumes responsibility for complying with applicable U.S. export controls and destination-country laws and regulations.
